Tips for Using PLR

January 8, 2015 By Kim P.

As you know, I’m a PLR gal!  It’s one of the best ways to speed up your content creation, without ripping off anyone’s content.  In recent months, some software has been released that basically takes content from Ezine Articles and respins it into “original” content.  Now how would you feel if that was your article that had been ripped off?  Not so great, right?  When you put your blood, sweat, and tears into writing an article or creating a product, you don’t want someone stealing your content and thinking it’s okay.  That’s just one reason I’m such a fan of creating and using PLR.  As long as you abide by the rules set out by the PLR creator, it allows you to put out some great content of your own.

I decided therefore to ask some of my fellow PLR providers what they consider to be their #1 PLR tips for using PLR.

Today’s tip is brought to you by Susan O’Dea of Master PLR, where you can find quality health PLR articles, beautiful infographics, and more!

“There are many ways to use PLR content, but one of my favorite ways is to use it as ‘hidden content’ in my WordPress posts or pages. For this to work, a WordPress plugin is required (and there is a free one that can be used called ‘OnePress Social Locker’). This is how it works…

The WordPress plugin hides the content you are giving as a bonus, from your visitors. You can create a free gift from your PLR content, for example a report or an instant solution to their problem, that relates to the article they are reading. If they would like to view the content you are giving away they will need to click on one of the social media buttons available. You explain to your reader that if they are happy to share or like your article, a free gift or answer (whatever you have offered) will be revealed!

It is a great way to increase your traffic through social media with your PLR content.”

I love that tip!
